Child Safety Standards

Last Updated: May 19, 2026

Rant & Rave LLC (“Rant & Rave,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) is committed to creating and maintaining a safe platform that does not tolerate child sexual abuse and exploitation (“CSAE”) in any form. This page describes our standards, policies, and procedures for preventing, detecting, and responding to child sexual abuse material (“CSAM”) and other content or conduct that endangers minors on our website, mobile applications (iOS and Android), and other digital platforms (collectively, the “Service”).

These standards apply to all users of the Service and to all content shared through it. They are published in accordance with Google Play's Child Safety Standards Policy and are publicly available worldwide at rantraveapp.com/child-safety-standards.

1. Our Commitment

Rant & Rave has a zero-tolerance policy toward CSAM, child grooming, sexual extortion of minors, the trafficking of minors, and any other form of child sexual abuse or exploitation. We are committed to:

  • Preventing CSAE content and conduct on the Service through clear rules, age restrictions, and proactive moderation;
  • Providing accessible reporting mechanisms so users can flag suspected CSAE content or behavior;
  • Acting promptly on reports and on content our systems detect;
  • Reporting confirmed CSAM to the appropriate authorities, including the U.S. National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (“NCMEC”), and cooperating with law enforcement;
  • Continuously improving our policies, tooling, and training to address emerging CSAE risks.

2. Prohibited Content and Conduct

The following content and conduct are strictly prohibited on the Service and will result in immediate removal, account termination, and, where applicable, reporting to authorities:

  • CSAM, including any image, video, drawing, animation, computer-generated imagery, or other depiction of a minor engaged in sexually explicit conduct;
  • Sexualized content involving minors, including suggestive imagery, captions, or commentary, regardless of whether the depiction is real, generated, or fictional;
  • Grooming behavior, including any attempt by an adult to develop a sexual or romantic relationship with a minor, or to obtain sexual content from a minor;
  • Solicitation or facilitation of in-person contact with a minor for sexual purposes;
  • Sextortion, including threats to share intimate content of a minor or coerce a minor into producing sexual content;
  • The trafficking, sale, or exploitation of minors in any form;
  • Sharing or directing users to off-platform locations (including third-party messaging apps, websites, or services) where CSAE content or conduct is taking place.

3. Age Requirements

The Service is intended for users aged 18 and older. By creating an account, users represent and warrant that they are at least 18 years old. We collect date of birth during account creation to enforce this requirement. If we become aware that an account holder is under 18, we terminate the account and delete the associated personal information in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

4. In-App Reporting

Every user of the Service can report content, profiles, comments, and direct messages that may violate our standards, including suspected CSAE. Reporting tools are available throughout the app from the menus attached to user-generated posts, profiles, and messages, and may be used to flag any content or conduct that violates these standards, including CSAM, grooming, and related concerns.

Reports are reviewed by our trust and safety team. Reporters may submit a report anonymously, and we take steps to keep the identity of reporters confidential where possible. We do not retaliate against users who submit good-faith reports.

Users can also report concerns by emailing contact@rantraveapp.com at any time.

5. Detection, Review, and Enforcement

When we receive a report or otherwise become aware of suspected CSAE content or conduct, we:

  • Prioritize child-safety reports for expedited review;
  • Remove or restrict access to the offending content as quickly as practicable;
  • Suspend or permanently terminate the responsible account(s);
  • Preserve relevant content and metadata to the extent required for reporting and law enforcement cooperation;
  • Report confirmed CSAM to NCMEC as described in Section 6;
  • Take additional measures (such as IP blocks or device-level restrictions) to prevent re-offense where appropriate.

Enforcement decisions are made consistent with our Terms of Service and applicable law.

6. Reporting to Authorities

As a U.S.-based provider, Rant & Rave complies with its obligations under 18 U.S.C. § 2258A to report apparent CSAM to NCMEC's CyberTipline. We also cooperate with law enforcement requests in accordance with applicable law.

External resources for reporting CSAE include:

  • INHOPE (International network of hotlines): inhope.org
  • Internet Watch Foundation (United Kingdom and global): iwf.org.uk
  • Emergency: If a child is in immediate danger, contact local law enforcement (911 in the United States).

7. Compliance with Laws

Rant & Rave complies with all applicable child safety laws and regulations in the jurisdictions where the Service is available, including U.S. federal reporting requirements for electronic service providers under 18 U.S.C. § 2258A, the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (“COPPA”) (by restricting the Service to users 18 and older), and equivalent laws in other regions where applicable. We review our policies regularly to keep pace with legal and regulatory developments.
